A Forever Dream
To those people who have known me long enough or even well enough if they presume, they would think I am a girl who doesn’t have an objective, a girl who is dilly dallying around. A girl whose dream keeps on changing until my friends never really understand what I really want anymore.
True. I don’t deny. I have many dreams. But no matter how well-dreamt my futures are, they will never beat the very dream that I have kept secret in me since 7 years ago.
When I first touched final fantasy VIII (my first final fantasy series), I was really awed. The graphic was so close to reality that I kept questioning whether it was real or not, whether it was really a game. I was really captivated by it. The environments, the characters, the monsters, each tiny details were being well-taken care of.

I was really shocked then. In the older times, people could only describe fantasies and dreams and imaginations with words. But Square Enix (the producer of Final Fantasy Series) has practically crafted out the entire fantasy. It is building worlds and people that never exist in the reality. They are making these imaginations come true. They have created them so realistically, creating confusion between vision and realism.

Life Contradicts
Every word said contradicts.
Don’t understand the statement?
For a good example, the Prime Minister just said that nothing will increase in price until September. Then suddenly there’s a 40% increase in fuel price. Doesn’t this news contradict with what he has said just months ago?
Ok, then let’s go back to some a little bit more personal examples, your parents. They will tell you whatever courses you choose, whatever you want to do, they will support you. Because to them, that’s how a good parents should be, giving their children full support and encouragement. Then when you’ve come out with a decision, they will stop you, reasoning that this is not good and subconsciously persuading and forcing you to enter another courses. Didn’t they just say they will support you whatever you choose?

What Would You Do?

At 19, if you are highly educated, you are supposed to have finished pre-u and get ready to go into university.
What if you suddenly changed your mind? What if you want to pursue something you like but might not suit later? But you will have to sacrifice your time by re-doing your pre-u again due to some reasons and go into universities two years later compared with your same age friends, and even start working 2~3 years later than most of your friends.
What would you do?

Loyalty
I think the only thing in me that I am really lack of is loyalty.
I have a friend whom I have sat with for 2 years during high school. The one thing I have always been impressed by her is her loyalty. She had this phone which she got it since standard 5 or 6. It was a mono tone and non-color mobile phone. When we were in form 4 or 5, non-color mobile phone was considered quite rare because most of the people would have upgraded theirs. This friend of mine, despite coming from a well-off family, she refused to change hers until last year when her phone finally “died”.
So she had roughly used that old phone for almost 6 years. And I am really awed!!! I have got my first mobile phone when I was in form 3, and since then I have already changed 4 new phones in total. It’s not that I am rich! It’s just that I lose interest and start seeking for newer models.

Why Waste Time?
Where do you find so much time? Some people would ask me, after seeing my blog’s layout has changed for so many times. They wanted to know, how I could spare so much time in changing layout.

Maybe when you were in the middle of having an important exam, while everyone was busy studying, struggling to put each passing seconds in good use, you were playing a computer games. Then people would ask you, “Why waste time?”
Sometimes you made a decision like re-doing your 1st year again, which in other people’s eyes, it was a total waste of time. Maybe they thought you were stupid; maybe they thought you would be too old when you came out to work later. Then they asked you again, “Why waste time?”
To change a layout; to play games during a huge important exam; to re-do things you have already gone through; to MOST people, it’s a BIG waste of time.
But like what my friend has said, you only live once. Why not give yourself a chance to pursue what you love? Even if it means to study every thing again; Even if it means that you’ll only be graduating when you’re 30.
