Summary: In a universe where men and women are mortal enemies, Hibiki is captured by a band of female pirates. The group find themselves stranded with a super ship they dub the Nirvana and set out for the female home planet. Along the way, they discover the existence of the “The Harvest” and the possible destruction of both men and women.

If you are a fan of shoujo anime or manga, you probably won’t miss this, another masterpiece from Gonzo. I have watched this for the 5th time and it still amuses me. It has a very unique storyline and a lot of inspiring quotes that might drive you into your deep thoughts sometimes. The main theme of this anime is “Trust”, trusting your comrades; nakama(friends); and people of different genders.

 I jolted up from my slumber. Rubbing my teary eyes, I realized I was in a strangely unfamiliar room. On the floor, there were two bags, and two long black carriers that looked like they contained weapons, long-ranged ones. I looked down on my body; it wasn’t the pajamas I was wearing. A rough textile covered my body; together with a pair bronze glove and boots.  In that instant, I knew everything was a dream, somehow.

The only door of the room slammed open. I was startled. There, you stood, tall, slender and the hair all tied up into a ponytail.  You were wearing glittering armors and a sharp blade that hung tightly on your waist. It was a rare sight to me, there in front of me stood a fine lady knight.  Before I could start comprehending what was going on, you spoke.

“We have to run away, this is not a right place for you.”

At 19, if you are highly educated, you are supposed to have finished pre-u and get ready to go into university.

What if you suddenly changed your mind? What if you want to pursue something you like but might not suit later? But you will have to sacrifice your time by re-doing your pre-u again due to some reasons and go into universities two years later compared with your same age friends, and even start working 2~3 years later than most of your friends.

What would you do?

I think the only thing in me that I am really lack of is loyalty.

I have a friend whom I have sat with for 2 years during high school. The one thing I have always been impressed by her is her loyalty. She had this phone which she got it since standard 5 or 6. It was a mono tone and non-color mobile phone. When we were in form 4 or 5, non-color mobile phone was considered quite rare because most of the people would have upgraded theirs. This friend of mine, despite coming from a well-off family, she refused to change hers until last year when her phone finally “died”.

So she had roughly used that old phone for almost 6 years. And I am really awed!!! I have got my first mobile phone when I was in form 3, and since then I have already changed 4 new phones in total. It’s not that I am rich! It’s just that I lose interest and start seeking for newer models.
